B.SC IN NURSING

04-year duration: B.Sc. in Nursing (Basic) Course. Monowara Nursing College is affiliated with the Bangladesh Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council & Rajshahi Medical University. THE REQUIREMENT FOR ADMISSION

04-year duration: B.Sc. in Nursing (Basic); must be admitted within two years of passing HSC from the science department. 02-year duration: B.Sc. in Nursing (Basic); diploma passed from BNMC. Student can get a chance to admited in this Department, Who get minimum of 40 marks in the admission test examination of Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council.

DIPLOMA IN NURSING SCIENCE & MIDWIFERY

Currently, the Diploma in Nursing Science & Midwifery Education degree is one of the most important branch of medical education.

THE REQUIREMENT FOR ADMISSION

The Applicants Must Have Passed Both SSC And HSC Or Equivalent Examinations From Any Groups Preferably Science From Any Board Of Intermediate And Secondary Education Or Any Other Board Of Bangladesh. The Applicants Must Have GPA Not Less Than 2.5 In SSC & 2.5 In HSC Examination, But Averrage 6.00 points at least. Medical (Physical And Mental) Fitness Will Be Essential Before Admission. Age Limit: Up To 22 Years.

DIPLOMA IN MIDWIFERY

A Midwife Provides Counseling, Care And Support To Women And Newborn During And After Pregnancy, Labor Pains And Early Delivery. She Helps Women Make Decisions About Various Health Services By Keeping Them Under Their Care During Pregnancy And Provides Advice On Health And Child Care. A Midwife Is Personally Responsible For The Health Of Both The Mother And The Child And Advises To See A Gynecologist If Medical Complications Occur During Pregnancy Or Birth. A Midwife Provides Services At Hospitals And Community Health Centers.
